It is often said that "every day is unpredictable." With the rapid development of science and technology, transportation and material life, disasters around us are also increasing. Opening the newspaper and turning on the television, most of them came into view: war, earthquake, tsunami, hurricane, fire, flood, air disaster, mine disaster, social unrest, violent conflict, terrorist attack and other extraordinary disasters. These calamities have happened, and their scale has also intensified. The calamities have inflicted pain, bloodshed, disability and death. The misfortune that happens around us every moment highlights the shortness and fragility of life. We cannot predict what kind of natural disasters will happen in the future, maybe the next day or hour, let alone what we should do in natural disasters ... 

What do these disasters foretell us? What exactly is God’s will?

What’s the siginificance of the disasters happening nowadays?

A: The Lord Jesus Christ is coming back soon. 

B: We should prepare for the Lord’s return in the last days. 

C: It’s time to punish unbelievers. 

D: He uses disasters to awaken their hearts and to let them come before God.

Of course A. It’s the sign that Lord’s coming back soon.

The Lord Jesus said, “And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” “ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places:”      “Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows.” “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:6-8、21).

Almighty God says, “All disasters will befall one after another; all nations and all places will experience disasters—plague, famine, flood, drought and earthquakes are everywhere. These disasters do not just happen in one or two places, nor will they be over within one or two days, but instead they will extend over a greater and greater area, and the disasters will become more and more severe. During this time all manner of insect plagues will arise in succession, and the phenomenon of cannibalism will occur in all places. This is My judgment on all nations and peoples.”  (from The Word Appears in the Flesh)

Yes, now is the last days, various disasters frequently occur. In every disaster, or when danger befalls us each time, it is the time when we need God’s salvation, only God is our sanctuary, only God can bestow the beautiful destination to us. The Bible says, Revelation 21:4, KJV: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Nowadays, the prophecies of the Lord’s return have been fulfilled, so it is the time when the Lord comes to lift us to the kingdom of heaven. To escape disasters, the key is to welcome the Lord’s return, so, the urgent matter is that we should seek and make this question clear, that is, how can we welcome the Lord’s return and don’t fall into the disasters?
